Plugging someone else's great review on a camera. The Panasonic GH4 by Camera Labs.

Gordon Liang is the reviewer at Camera Labs. He did not do a glancing or weak review of the GH4. He pulled out all the stops! It's an incredibly detailed review that goes a long way toward explaining why I'm buying up GH4s and lenses. Read it and see what he says....

And here's a gratuitous image of a GH4 just to whet the visual appetite:

How this can be considered a good and detailed review if the reviewer test GH4 continues AF with an olympus lens? The whole point of DFD focusing is C-Af and tracking AF.

DFD focusing in one tiny part of the overall camera to me. If you are buying this camera over an EM1 I have to believe you are planning on getting a lot of use out of the video components. We generally use MF for all the video stuff we do. And many users have lots of Olympus and Sigma lenses so getting a feel for the general focusing of the camera with other lenses makes sense. The whole point of the new camera was IQ improvement. I look at focusing as a side show. They are all fast enough for most use now.
